through which qualified citizens can
become candidates for office. We encourage all
Gloucester County citizens to register to
vote, participate in candidate selections, and vote for the candidates
of their
choice.  Get your tickets for the 2010 Gloucester Democratic Commitee Seafood DinnerThe Annual Seafood Dinner is the Gloucester Democrats' highlight fundraising event of the year and this year it will be held on Sept 8th. It will include outstanding local seafood, great speakers, live music, and, new this year, a silent auction with a wide array of wonderful items. If you would like to purchase tickets, or if you would like to take a block of tickets to sell, email us or call JP Cordill at 693-3904. Tickets this year are $25 per person. All proceeds go to the Gloucester County Democratic Committee for supporting the Democratic Party in Gloucester and Democratic candidates for office. We are excited to announce that our keynote speaker will be Senator Donald McEachin of the 9th District and DPVA Vice-Chair for Outreach. Featured on The Rachel Maddow Show, McEachin has recently garnered attention for being outspoken against Attorney General Cuccinelli's lawsuit that challenges the constitutionality of the new health care bill. In addition, our Democratic candidate for the 1st Congressional District, Krystal Ball,
will be speaking at the Seafood Dinner. This is a great
opportunity for Gloucester Democrats to meet our future representative
and to hear her views. Krystal is a great speaker and we look
forward to having her at our event. For more information on

We are looking for volunteers to donate supplies for the Seafood Dinner and to help with set up, clean up, serving, etc. Please visit our Volunteer Sign Up sheet to see what you can do to help.
